WK 2 ALGEBRAIC EXPRESSIONS (i) Expand a given algebraic expression. (ii) Relate it in their environment. WK 3 ALGEBRAIC EXPRESSIONS 2 (i) Factorise simple algebraic expressions. (ii) Simplify algebraic expressions. WK 4 SIMPLE LINEAR EQUATIONS (i) Solve problems on simple equations. (ii) Interpret and solve word problemns including algebraic fractions. WK 5 LINEAR INEQUALITIES IN ONE VARIABLE (i) Identify and solve linear equalities in one variable. (ii) Represent solutions of inequalities of one variable on the number line. WK 6 ANGLES IN A POLYGON (i) Identify Polygons. (ii) Find the sum of the interior angles of triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons. WK 7-9 GRAPHS (i) Identify the x- and y- axes. Plot points on the Cartesian plane. (ii) Plot linear graphs from real-life situations (for example, prices/item, distance-time, velocity-time). WK 10 ANGLES OF ELEVATION AND DEPRESSION (i) Distinguish between angles of elevation and depression. (ii) Use angles of elevation and depression to fins lengths in scale drawings.
