FIRST TERM BEGINS!

WEEK 2:3                     TOPIC: INTRODUCTION TO BODY MOVEMENT

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:By the end of the lesson, leaners should be able to:

• Understand movement activities and practice them more often.

• Explain the categories and fundamental body movement

• Correct pronunciation and spellings of key vocabulary.

• Realize the importance of exercising the body daily.

WEEK 4:5                TOPIC: CARPENTRY TOOLS

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:By the end of the lesson,  Learners should be able to:

• Understand who a carpenter is and the duties of a carpenter.

• Categorize carpentry tools.

• Discuss the basic woodworking safety rules.

WEEK 1: REVSION

WEEK 2-3: COMPUTER ETHICS

By the end of the lesson, Learners should be able to:

  • Comprehend the categories of computer ethics.
  • Be conscious of the proper things to do while working or using a computer.

WEEK 4-5: FOSSIL FUEL

By the end of the lesson, Learners should be able to:

  • Identify fossil fuels
  • Discuss their advantages and disadvantages
  • Understand the true significance and impact of fossil fuels on the environment and on our daily lives.

WEEK 6: AGRICULTURE

By the end of the lesson, Learners should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of agriculture.
  • Discuss the types of agriculture.

WEEK 8: PERSONAL HYGIENE

By the end of the lesson, Learners should be able to:

  • State the importance and how to maintain personal hygiene.
  • Create a personal hygiene plan.
  • Recognize and apply practices relating to personal hygiene and grooming.

WEEK 2:                                           HOW TO MAKE A BUDGET

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:                      Learner will be able to:

Make a budget and use it to help them to make smart decisions.

Explain the concept of budgeting.

WEEK 3:                                          COMMUNICATION ETIQUETTE

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:            Learners should also be able to:

  • Explain the concept of etiquette
  • Identify and explain with examples and types of etiquettes
  • Discuss the need to observe proper etiquettes.

WEEK 4:                                          HYGIENE

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:                 Leaners should be able to:          

  • State the importance and ways of maintaining good personal hygiene.
  • Create a personal hygiene plan.
  • Recognize and apply practices relating to personal hygiene and grooming

WEEK 5:                                          RUGS, CARPET AND TILES.      

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:                 Learners should be able to:                   

  • Explore and discuss the importance and use of rugs, carpet and tiles.
  • Recognize the reason why they are used
  • Describe a rug, tile and a carpet.

WEEK 6:                                          FARM AND GARDEN MANAGEMENT.   

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:                 Learners should be able to:                 

  • Know how to plant and grow plants using seeds or transplanting
  • Be acquainted with the stages of plant growth and importance of the various parts of a plant.
  • Identify a plant’s need to provide basic maintenance.

WEEK 8:                                          MEANING AND IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE.           

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:                 Learners should be able to:

  • Be aware of how to plant and grow from seeds or transplants.
  • Summarize the importance of agriculture to man and the nation.
  • Discuss the history of agriculture in Nigeria.

WEEK 9:                                          TRANSPORTATION: MOTORCYCLES AND BICYCLES (USES)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:               Learners should be able to:

  • Recognize the types of motorcycle.
  • Label a given diagram of a bicycle.
  • Explore and explain the advantages and disadvantages between bicycles and motorcycles

WEEK 10:                                          BASIC COMPUTER OPERATIONS

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:                 Learners should be able to:

  • Describe the Microsoft Excel Software
  • Use and developed skills in Microsoft Excel
  • State some precautions in the use of computer hardware
  • Describe proper care of computer human Ware
  • Mention the reasons for care of computer users

WEEK 11:                                          NIGERIA’S GEOPOLITICAL ZONES.

   LEARNING OBJECTIVES:            Learners should be able to:  

  • Mention the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria and the states under each.
  • Using map keys to colour the geopolitical zones on the map of Nigeria

WEEK 11: ENVIRONMENTAL HYGIENE

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:By the end of the lesson,Learners should be able to:

• Recognize the meaning and importance of environmental hygiene.
• Be mindful of always keeping their environment healthy.
• Identify and discuss possible way to keep the environment clean, safe and healthy.
